You might want to clean your keyboard keys on your laptop if they are dirty or performing poorly. If it misses a few keystrokes the first solution would be to look into cleaning the keys on your laptops keyboard. The best way to clean a laptop keyboard is by not removing the actual keys because once they come off there are a pain to clip back in. Also the clips can break off if you don't have a proper removal tool, so its only advised for computer shops.
1) Turn off the power to your laptop.
2) Get a soft small brush such as a paint brush
and brush all the keys gently.
3) Using your household vacuum cleaner clean up
any dust remains.
4) Now the dust is removed internally between the
actual keys of the keyboard, its time to clean it outside.
5) Lightly spray some cleaning solution onto the
outside of the keyboard.
6) Use a soft cloth dry the keyboard keys clean.
This is the best way that i have come across to
clean laptops keys without removing them, we have tried this on many different
kinds of laptops both old and new and it works great.
